There are currently openings for multiple postdoctoral scholar positions within the Bay Area Neutron Group and Nuclear Data Group in the Department of Nuclear Engineering at UC Berkeley. The team engages in research at the 88-Inch Cyclotron at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory focused on low-energy nuclear physics and neutron detection for applications. We have a range of active projects that may be of interest to your students—from scintillator characterization to cross section measurements to fission studies to isotope production R&D and more. I’ve attached a list of recent publications (with contact info) to give an idea of the scope of work.
