Students and faculty had the opportunity to discuss issues of critical concern to CNEC, INMM and ANS with the Director of the National Security Office at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Bryan Fearey has written and advised on a variety of national security technicalpolicy issues, to include the development of technologies needed to support nuclear arms control treaties verification and related non-proliferation efforts. A scientist by education, he has worked closely with the policy world, and as such is uniquely well placed to shed light on the intersection of policy, science, and technology.
